Our School

Alkerden Church of England Academy is at the heart of the new Ebbsfleet Garden City development, between Dartford and Gravesend. Set within an impressive 11.1-hectare site, Alkerden is one of the largest educational facilities in Kent.

The academy brings together a nursery, two-form-entry primary phase, eight-form-entry secondary phase, sixth-form campus and an all-through Specialist Resource Provision (SRP), creating an exceptional learning environment for children and young people from nursery through to sixth form.

Our state-of-the-art facilities include 4G football pitches, music studios, advanced design and technology environments, industry-inspired science laboratories and commercial sports and social spaces. These outstanding facilities provide pupils with inspiring opportunities to learn, explore their interests and develop the skills they need for their future.

As part of the wider Aletheia Academies Trust, pupils at Alkerden also benefit from being part of a thriving family of schools, with opportunities to collaborate, learn and grow beyond the academy itself.

Alkerden is proud to be at the heart of the local community and to play an important role in the growth and development of Ebbsfleet Garden City. We are committed to making the most of the opportunities that come with being part of this exciting new community.

Alkerden Academy is a school with a Church Foundation. You do not need to attend church to be part of our school community. Our Christian foundation reflects our partnership with the Church of England and helps shape our commitment to ensuring every child can flourish in learning, life and faith.
